Gujarat Corona update date 19-4-2020 morning 10:00 a.m. update

Gandhinagar. Another 228 corona cases have been registered in the state and five have been killed. With this, a total of 1604 patients have been registered till now. The death toll has reached 58 as well. While 94 people have recovered. In today's cases, 140 cases have been registered in Ahmedabad and 67 cases in Surat. On the first Saturday, the total number of corona-positive patients reached 277 new cases in Gujarat. In addition, 240 cases were registered in Ahmedabad alone.

Ahmedabad has become the third largest hotspot in the country. Ahmedabad has recorded the highest number of 240 positive cases so far on Saturday. So far, 862 have been positive. Ahmedabad has more than 25 cases including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha. Ahmedabad is the third most positive case after Mumbai and Delhi.

The most deaths; 53 dead in Gujarat, third in the country in death toll
As the positive cases are increasing in Gujarat, the death toll is increasing at the same speed. As of Saturday, 53 people have died in Gujarat. Maharashtra ranks first with 201 deaths. Madhya Pradesh is second with 62 deaths. Ahmedabad, on the other hand, has 25 deaths, which is higher than 29 states, union territory. There are 13 states in the country where not a single death has been reported.
