Now the scholars , teachers and even parents mostly reply on the web mode of education which has now become the backbone of the fashionable education system across the world . The worldwide spread of Covid-19 has led to a big disruption altogether educational activities across the state . Educational institutions are closed since March this year, as a justified precautions to mitigate the danger of contracting the virus. The nationwide lockdown that was imposed, in hopes to contain the virus, resulted in schools and colleges being closed across the country affecting over 500 million students. so as to continue with classes, institutions are focussing on e-learning methods of learning on digital platforms. This has, however, increased the workload for educators thanks to extended work hours especially for teachers and professors residing in rural areas facing connectivity issues.

As the COVID-19 pandemic becomes increasingly protracted, WHO has developed a Guidance for Conducting a rustic COVID-19 Intra-Action Review (IAR) and ten accompanying tools for countries to conduct periodic reviews of their response during this public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC). a rustic COVID-19 IAR may be a country-led facilitated process that permits stakeholders of the continued COVID-19 response to review the functional capacities of public health and emergency response systems at the national or subnational levels to spot best practices, gaps and lessons learned, and propose corrective measures and actions for immediate remediation or sustained improvement of the COVID-19 outbreak response. The course consists of 4 modules, quizzes after each module and a final assessment.

Education institutions across the planet , including India, are pushed to work online from homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As more teachers and students coordinate classes via the web , they're constantly targeted by hackers through various sorts of malware and cyber attacks. a replacement report on Friday claims that spear-phishing attacks on Indian schools and colleges via Gmail have increased in September following a drop during the summer vacations (July-August). Spear-phishing may be a sort of personalised phishing attack that targets a selected organisation or individual, with intentions to steal data for malicious purposes.

Researchers at Barracuda also noticed that phishing attacks on educational institutes were mainly carried using two methods between July and September - email scams and repair impersonation. In many cases, Gmail accounts were the first medium for hackers to launch phishing attacks, accounting 86 percent of total spear-phishing attacks, the report notes. These emails via Gmail were a part of carefully-crafted business email compromise (BEC) attack, that's a form spear-phishing attack, the corporate notes.
