Online Scholarship for Sanskrit Students std 9 to ph.d students
The Central Government has launched a new initiative for the development and promotion of Sanskrit, the world's oldest language and the so-called Devvani. The Central Sanskrit University, run by the Union Ministry of Human Resources and Development, has decided to give annual scholarships to children studying Sanskrit. Under this, Sanskrit students from 9th standard to PHD will get a scholarship of 5 thousand to 25 thousand rupees every year.
These will be the conditions to apply
Application form for scholarship will be accepted online only. No consideration will be given to sending any application form or certificate by post or otherwise.
Preference order will be prepared for the scholarship of students up to Inter only on the basis of Sanskrit subject marks. But for Sanskrit Honors the order of preference will be decided on the integer of all the previous subjects.
Eligibility
- Sanskrit language of 100 marks has been taken as optional subjects in the previous class.
- General class students should have obtained at least 60% marks in Sanskrit language examination.
- 55% marks are compulsory for OBC students and 50% marks in SC, ST, Disability category.
- Payment will be made by DBT in July
