The government issued a warning not to download this Co-WIN app by mistake

The government recently announced the Co-WIN app to properly process the corona vaccine and store its data. This app is not currently available on the Playstore or App Store. Despite this some fraudsters have started uploading fake apps on the Play Store. If you are one of those people who downloads such an app, beware immediately because such fake apps can make you a victim of fraud.

The Union Health Ministry also issued a notice on Wednesday asking it not to download or register any fake application called Co-WIN. The health ministry warned, "Some antisocial elements have developed an app similar to the official platform of the government's upcoming 'Co-Win' app, which is available on app stores."

The ministry said, ‘Do not download it or share personal information on it. At the launch of this application, the official platform of MoHFW will inform and disclose it. ”
